Our Story
CrossFit Saol opened in Twinsburg in 2012 with a simple idea: fitness should make your whole life better. "Saol" is the Irish word for life — and "Live Better" isn't a slogan to us, it's the point of everything we do.
What started with a handful of members has grown into a 13,000 sq ft facility and a community that shows up for each other, on the gym floor and off it.
Honestly, though, the place speaks for itself — so take a look inside. Hit play for a quick tour of the gym you'll soon call home.

Brittany's love of movement started long before CrossFit — 11 years of Tae Kwon Do and mixed martial arts, culminating in a second-degree black belt that taught her discipline, resilience, and grit.
Fitness took on deeper meaning after the birth of her second child. Through a difficult battle with postpartum depression, exercise became an outlet, a source of strength, and a key part of her healing. She walked into her first CrossFit class in September 2023 and fell in love with the programming, the constant growth, and the community that carried her through.
Coaching at Saol since October 2025, Brittany is passionate about being for others the encouragement that once helped her — building confidence, creating community, and helping people discover they're capable of more than they think.

Clint has been part of CrossFit Saol since the very beginning — he joined in 2012 and earned his CrossFit Level 1 the next year, in 2013, alongside his wife (and co-owner) Kaleigh and his best friend Mike.
His fitness story started long before CrossFit: Twinsburg's swim team at seventeen, a P90X phase in college (he still quotes Tony Horton), and a cousin who made the CrossFit Games in 2011 and got him hooked. A run-in with SVT and heart surgery only deepened his commitment to training smart — and to coaching others to do the same.
Today he leads the gym with high energy and higher standards, always chasing the next way to help members live better.

Co-owner and coach Kaleigh has been leading classes since 2013. A CF-L2 with Kids and Gymnastics certifications, she's known for making class the most fun — and most welcoming — hour of your day, all while quietly drilling the fundamentals that make you better.

A former gymnast, field hockey, and track athlete, Krissy ran competitively for years before she found CrossFit — and she found it at a pivotal time, shortly after getting sober. What began as a way to stay busy and focus on her health quickly became so much more, giving her structure, accountability, and a positive outlet when she needed it most.
Coaching at Saol since 2024, she leads with empathy: meeting athletes where they are, building confidence through consistency, and celebrating progress over perfection. Her favorite benchmark is Murph — every year it's a chance to reflect, push her limits, and appreciate what she's capable of — and she's chasing continued strength as a Masters athlete.
"The people are what I love most — the support, encouragement, and genuine friendships make it feel like a second family."

A Saol member turned coach since 2019, Maggie coaches for longevity — she wants to help you add quality years to your life, one barbell at a time.
She found CrossFit in college and never looked back. Her favorite benchmark is Grace, and this year she is chasing a 180-pound snatch.

Makenzie — Kenzie to everyone at the gym — came to CrossFit from the competition platform, with two years in powerlifting and bikini bodybuilding behind her. A personal trainer since 2024, she joined the Saol coaching team in January 2026 and brings a competitor's eye for technique to every class.
Her coaching comes down to two things: keep people moving safely, and make sure they're having fun. She builds confidence rep by rep, so you leave each class a little stronger than you walked in.
"Move safely and have fun. If we get those two right, the strength takes care of itself."

Savannah has been coaching at Saol since May 2023, and what she loves most is easy to spot on the floor: the ever-growing community and the lasting relationships built here. In her classes everyone supports everyone — and that's what makes the work so much fun.
Come train with her and you'll feel it fast. Just be sure to put your equipment back where it belongs — it's the one thing that'll earn you a friendly look.
